Fatal fire in Lynchburg

Smoking around an oxygen tank may be to blame for a fire that killed a Lynchburg woman.

The fire happened Monday around 11 a.m. at a home on Campbell Avenue.  A woman in her mid-60s was killed.  Investigators aren't releasing her name yet.

They're still looking for what caused the fire, but say the woman was known to smoke around her oxygen tank.

She was alone when the fire happened.  Fire marshals have ruled out arson or foul play as a possible cause.
