Don Childs struggles daily with the innocence that his daughter, Heidi Childs and David Metzler went with to Caldwell Fields in Montgomery County this past August.
Now, two months later, he's taking steps towards some kind of closure.
"It was hard to close it out and not to hear her voice anymore," says Childs.
Don, his wife Laura, and Keith and Susan Metzler have had to do things parents should never have to do. Cleaning out apartments, shutting off cell phones and closing accounts.
"Her bank account. I go to the bank and explain to them what the situation is and her cell phone. We communicated constantly with her cell phone," says Childs.
Now, Childs is asking everyone to remember where they were the days surrounding the murders.
"Someone down the street might have seen something. That's what we're trying to get out there for people to come forward, to not be afraid. It's anonymous," says Childs.
He says any bit of information or observation could be enough to find out who killed this young couple.
"Oh yeah, I remember seeing that particular vehicle or I was on the way to the store and I saw this vehicle. That's what we're hoping, to kindle some memory," says Childs.
As they wait, the Childs and Metzler's say they take strength in knowing they will see their children again.
"We are comforted to know that they are in heaven and it'll just be a matter of time that we'll be rejoined with them," says Childs.
The reward for information is now $70,000.
Anyone with information, should call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department at 540-382-2951.
Investigators say they do NOT believe there is any connection to the Morgan Harrington case.
