"In some ways it seems like years, in other ways it's such a blur, it's really hard to measure day and night," says Gil Harrington, Morgan's Mom.
"I don't think you do this and act normal afterwards, there has to be some behavioral changes," says Dan Harrington, Morgan's Dad.It was one month ago Tuesday that 20-year-old Morgan Harrington vanished from a Metallica concert.
The parents of the Virginia Tech Junior talked to News 7 about their grief and their hope.
"In some ways it seems like years, in other ways it's such a blur, it's really hard to measure day and night," says Gil Harrington, Morgan's Mom.
It's been one month since their daughter Morgan disappeared from a Metallic Concert and still many unanswered questions.
"Everyone along the chain is thinking 'If I had done something different, if we had gotten other tickets, if she was sitting in a different seat it all would have been different, but that sucks the energy away from finding Morgan," says Gil.
Both Dan and Gil Harrington believe someone out there knows something.
"People talk, this is a very big secret to have kept for a month," says Gil.
"I don't think you do this and act normal afterwards, there has to be some behavioral changes," says Dan Harrington, Morgan's Dad.
While the Harrington's struggle with their pain, they hold onto each other and hold onto hope.
"How do you mourn?" asks Dan, "How do you not only mourn, but hold out hope?"
"You feel like you're quitting on Morgan if you start that mourning, grief process, that you've given up by now. I'm not ready to concede that Morgan is not alive in the world somewhere, I just can't," says Gil.
State police say they've received 500 tips since Morgan Harrington went missing October 17th.
