People will be running to save lives next spring in the Roanoke Valley.
The Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure is set for next April 10 at Green Hill Park. It is the first Komen Greater Roanoke Valley race, and registration has now started online.
All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment programs.
