Hawthorne Reed, Jr.A Dublin pastor is being accused of molesting a child. Hawthorne Reed, Jr. was indicted by a Radford grand jury last month on an aggravated sexual battery charge plus two counts of forcible sodomy.
Reed is the pastor at First Baptist Church West Dublin. The prosecutor says the incident occurred six years ago with a girl under the age of 13.
By phone this afternoon, Reed told News 7 the allegations are not true and he plans to fight them in court. He says he believes God will vindicate him.
