Controversial movie with local ties

It will either be one of the funniest movies you've ever seen or one of the most offensive.

It's called Borat, and stars the British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, better known as Ali G.

But not everyone thinks he's funny.

Cohen plays a fictitious Central Asian journalist who travels to America to make a documentary about American culture.

During his journey he made a stop at the Salem Civic Center.  That's where he duped organizers into allowing him to sing the national anthem at a rodeo.

Instead, he made a mockery out of it.  A guy that was there that night says no one in the crowd was laughing.

He also makes inaccurate statements about the war in Iraq.

Nearly two years after the stunt, some people we talked to still find it offensive.

Others tell us it was nothing more than a joke.

You can see it for yourself, the movie will be released November 3rd.
