A Pearisburg home is a complete loss after an afternoon fire.
Crews were called out to a home in the 2500 block of Curve Road around 3 p.m.. When firefighters arrived on the scene, they saw smoke. Once they entered the home, they found fire coming through the floor.
Authorities says the fire appeared to be coming from underneath, where electrical wiring was housed. In addition to fire damage, the home sustained extensive smoke and water damage. No one was home at the time of the incident.
