Memories of lost loved ones kept cyclists motivated to continue their six day ride that ended in Roanoke this afternoon.
EMS workers from across the country peddled 600 miles to honor the ones who lost their lives trying to save others. The bikers began their trip in New York last week. They left Staunton, Virginia early this morning and traveled 90 miles to the Hotel Roanoke, where they celebrated with friends and family.
The group has a memorial service planned for Saturday night at First Baptist Church in Roanoke.
