Students at Bedford Elementary School exposed to pornography

Fourth-graders at Bedford Elementary School were exposed to hardcore pornography for a few seconds yesterday.

School officials say the students were watching a tape of a math lesson when a few seconds of porn appeared after the tape rolled past the credits.

School spokesman Ryan Edwards called the incident a fluke, and says school officials are blaming it on a video reproduction company.

He says despite a teacher's quick efforts to turn off the T-V, students still saw a few seconds of the adult material.

The principal sent a letter home to parents telling them what happened.

All videos made by the same company have been removed from Bedford County schools.
