The newly-married couple exits past an R2-D2 cooler.A local couple decided they wanted to have a wedding that was out of this world, and that is exactly what they got.
While the ceremony at Salem's Duck Pond looked traditional in some ways, it was very untraditional in one important respect: this one went back in time to honor what many consider the movie of all movies, "Star Wars."
Heather and Andy Simmons say the whole idea started off as a joke. And the laughs didn't just stop with the costumes. Lots of little quirks, including an R2-D2 cooler kept the crowd entertained.
