Some stray animals in our area are finding a new home this weekend.
The Franklin County Animal Hospital teamed up with the county's Humane Society for a pet adoption fair. For just 40 bucks, animal lovers could take home a new cat or dog.
All of them have been tested and vaccinated.
"Our main purpose here is to find these orphan animals, homeless animals homes. We're trying to do that in a very easy, user friendly sort of way," said Eric Krauss, a veterinarian
Proceeds will benefit the Franklin County Humane Society as it tries to build a new pet adoption center in the county.
