A Roanoke County school bus was involved in an accident Tuesday afternoon. There were no injuries and a school system spokesman described the damage as minor.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on West Main Street in Salem. Bus #98 was carrying students from Glenvar High and Middle Schools. Police say the bus stopped for a traffic light and was rear-ended by a car.
The driver of the car, Celso Ferrer Sanchez of Salem, was charged with following too closely and driving without a license.
