But hundreds of women spent the day at Virginia Tech to see this season's Hokie players up close and personal at the 2008 Frank Beamer's Ladies Clinic."

"You kind of get a little giddy when you get close to em. You kind of get goose bumps. This morning we were watching Tyrod. We were like, there they are," said Hokie fan Cathy Diehl .
Organizers say hundreds of women were on the waiting list. In the end, 500 lucky ladies packed into Cassell Coliseum to get a glimpse of the players and their new uniforms.
"It was a fun experience. The strip tease part, I never done that before, but it was fun entertaining the crowd," said defensive back Kam Chancellor.
"We try to get these ladies so they can talk a little football, get up in the stands and say some things that would impress the men," said head coach Frank Beamer.
