Radford beats VMI for Big South title

It has been a back and forth battle for Big South bragging rights this season between Radford and VMI.

With a 108 to 94 win and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, now Radford can rightfully do all the talking it wants.

The Keydets won the first match of the season, back in January. Radford paid the favor back two weeks ago, clinching the regular season title at Cameron Hall.

Chavis Holmes and Austin Kenon combined for 55 VMI points, but it wasn't enough to top the Highlanders.

Radford led by four at halftime, but VMI narrowed the lead to one just five minutes into the second half.

Art Parakhouski and Kenny Thomas took control from there on though, scoring 26 and 15 respectively in the game.

With the win, Radford lands a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
