Bella, it's a new magazine designed to reach out to women across the Roanoke Valley.  Former City Magazine Editor, Joey Coakley Beck, decided to branch out on her own.  She's created a magazine that addresses women's issues.

While it is a casual publication designed to read while sitting around with friends, Beck says there's also a serious side.  Her goal is to hit home with women of all ages.

"If you want to check out the latest fashion model wearing a size zero and wearing a three thousand dollar tank top there are already plenty of publications like that, but that isn't the typical woman," said Joey Coakley Beck, editor and publisher of Bella.

The magazine is free and you can pick up a copy at various locations throughout the Roanoke Valley and beyond.
