morning reporter to join our top-rated news team.
Candidates should have that unique combination of superior live delivery, hard news
and severe weather, and creative, engaging feature writing and reporting skills…a
jack or jill of all trades. You will join the largest, most aggressive morning team in
the 66th DMA with the support of the most experienced staff and region-wide live
resources. Two – five years of full-time reporting experience and college degree
required. Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Pre-employment

We have an immediate opening for a creative and self-motivated photographer. This
position is responsible for breaking news coverage, news features, and live shots. Ideal
candidate will have experience with Panasonic P2 cameras, non-linear Grass Valley
editors, and microwave trucks. Experience with SNG trucks a plus. Candidates should
understand and know how to maximize a story on multiple platforms and contribute
daily to WDBJ7.com. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
