Kentucky School for the Deaf teacher recognized for excellence

Kentucky School for the Deaf Career and Technical Education Teacher Jay Cloud, second from right, was recently recognized by Lexmark for excellence in education. Cloud was surprised during a high school assembly meeting Jan. 13 by a delegation from Lexmark's Lexington division, which awarded him an INSPIRE Teacher Award and a check for $1,000 to be used to enhance his program. The INSPIRE program recognizes outstanding central Kentucky area middle and high school science, technology, engineering and math teachers.
