Lehigh Cement Co. among 18 fined for pollution violations

The Lehigh Heidelberg Cement Group's Union Bridge plant rises above Union Bridge in Carroll County. The company recently agreed to pay $50,000 for alleged soot pollution violations in 2009, the Maryland Department of the Environment announced.
