Smith played three seasons with the Orioles before spending time with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Florida Marlins, Montreal Expos and <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000016" title="Milwaukee Brewers" href="/topic/sports/baseball/milwaukee-brewers-ORSPT000016.topic">Milwaukee Brewers</a>. He was a career .243 hitter.
