Unusual reasons for calling in sick
Winter is the prime time for employees to call in sick, according to a CareerBuilder survey. One-third of employers say their workers call in sick more frequently in the colder months, but not all of those absences may be due to a case of the sniffles. CareerBuilder compiled the most unusual excuses for calling in sick. Here are some of our favorites.
