But, stashed in the shop, behind the register, is a work force that puts Santa's elves to shame.

Meet Sue Huffman.
She doesn't like to brag, her boss and her apron do it for her!

"She's very good at what she does. She's been recognized across the country and we're very glad to have her at Joe's Trees 'cause she can do just about anything that you what her to do," says Joe's Trees Owner Sue Bostic.

Sue takes tree clippings and transforms them into a little bit of holiday art.

"I love to be creative, and the environment here is such that you just can't help but being happy knowing that you're making other people happy!" smiles Wreath Shop Manager Sue Huffman.

Huffman has received state honors for her wreaths.
In 2008, she was recognized on the national level as a double grand champion.
With a sprig here and berry there, she makes it look easy.

But, it's not the awards that motivate this florist turned wreath maker, it's the people.
Huffman says she was retired when her boss, Sue Bostic, took over the business and asked for her help.

"She said who ever made that one is the boss, and the other two work for her. So, that's how I got the job," Huffman laughs.

Twenty-years later, Huffman is still at it, making about 900-wreaths a season.
And, she doesn't plan on slowing down.
As Sue says, if you love what do, you never really work a day in your life.
