Looking Ahead: Muntu Dance Theatre

exception. Yes. We understand. To you, it's a bunch of people hopping around onstage to music. But Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago is storytelling, pure and simple. The troupe uses different types of African dance forms to create moods, convey information and help people understand the relationship between dance of the past and similar movements of the present. And yes, they're very entertaining, in case you just want to go out and watch people being athletic onstage.
