( Scott Strazzante, Chicago Tribune / June 2, 2011 ) Dawn Keller of Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation works on removing two eaglets from their nest at Mooseheart in Batavia, Ill. The eaglets, who were moved into a new man made nest on several days before after their nest was destroyed in a storm, have not been fed by their parents since before the storm on May 29. Keller has taken the eaglets to her Barrington wildlife center to nurse them back to full strength. |
