A son, Oliver Mason Burek, was born to Amanda and Nicholas Burek of Holland, Mich., at 1:40 p.m. Oct. 4, 2012, at West Ottawa Community Hospital in Grand Haven. Oliver weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. He has a sister, Madison, age 8. Grandparents are Bob and Melva Burek of Petoskey, and Dennis and Sam Evans of Petoskey. Great-grandparents are Ann Burek of Petoskey, Bruce and Nancy Lawson of Boyne City.
