Photo Gallery: Santa rides in fire truck
A holiday tradition in Botetourt County and the areas served by the Read Mt. Fire and Rescue Dept, is the delivery of Santa via fire truck to various neighborhoods.
This started on Dec. 14th and continues through the 20th. Santa rides through more than two dozen neighborhoods followed by other emergency equipment.
Read Mt. Fire is a volunteer department in the midst of its annual fund drive.
Thursday night he made his rounds in unseasonably warm weather.
Photos depict his ride through the Cypress Court neighborhood off Sanderson Road.
