7-Eleven in Roanoke robbed early Sunday, subject still not found

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) A 7-Eleven convenience store in Roanoke was robbed early Sunday morning, according to the Roanoke County Police Department.

Police say a man entered the store and displayed a weapon at 3:45 a.m. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

Officers and canine units searched the area but did not find the subject.

The employee of the store was not injured.

The robber was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with the word "MAINE" on it.
