ACC releases 2016-17 schedule for UVA men's basketball team

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The University of Virginia men’s basketball team kicks off the season on Nov. 11 with a road game at UNC-Greensboro.

The Wahoos’ 2016-17 schedule includes home games against Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, Ohio State and West Virginia. The Cavaliers also have road games at defending national champion Villanova, California, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Louisville.

During its ACC schedule, Virginia will play home and away games against Louisville, North Carolina, Pitt, and Virginia Tech. The games vs. the Hokies are Feb. 1 (Charlottesville) and Feb. 12 (Blacksburg).

Last year UVA won 29 games. Virginia returns three starters (London Perrantes), Isaiah Wilkins, and Devon Hall.
