RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ) Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RAAP) experienced a nitric acid leak during tank testing Tuesday.

They say the acid is fully contained and is being treated.

Employees were moved from the site and a controlled release of employees is in progress for those working in close proximity to the leak.

RAAP says no one was injured or experienced any health issues and that the surrounding community is also safe.
