The man has been identified as 41-year-old Troy Roberson of Spout Springs.

Deputies say they got a call between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. about suspicious activity on Maple Drive, near Old Wright Shop Road.

When deputies arrived they found Roberson with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead in the parking lot of a business he operated. There is crime scene tape around Carson's Taxidermy.

A woman who owns a hair salon nearby says Roberson was a barber.

"We know him as the neighborhood barber. And he’s got a lot of family. Troy is like family to us," Kim Brinkley said. “He’s a good guy. Would do anything for anybody. He was quiet, humble. He didn’t bother anybody. Instead of trouble, he would just dismiss it. Just to keep the problems away. And to wake up this morning and to see this, it’s shocking. It’s unbelievable.”
