BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ7) An anti-bullying group visited Bedford Elementary School Friday. "Boys With a Dream" hosted the anti-bullying assembly.
WDBJ7's Noon anchor, Tim Saunders spoke at the event. Group mentors say it's a collaborative effort to encourage adults to help spread a positive message.
"The teachers do what they can do, SROs do what they can do, but it's not going to go away unless parents take a stand for both ends of the spectrum," Mentor, Robert Carson said.
The group says they're just trying to make a difference and raise awareness of school bullying. They hope to visit more schools in the area this year.
