LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) They’re getting ready for Apple Day in Lexington.
The annual event at the Stonewall Jackson House will close off the entire block of town for the first time this year to make room for music, food, and activities.
“The crafts and games and activities – we try to stick with activities that are period appropriate, skills that kids don’t necessarily get to use all the time. They can make their own dolls. They also get the chance to work our cider press and see how apple cider is actually made,” says Grace Adele of the Stonewall Jackson House:
Apple Day is Saturday, from 11 to 3.
