Arrest made in Blacksburg burlary investigation

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7)— The Blacksburg Police Department has filed charges in multiple burglary cases.

On Tuesday, November 7, Blacksburg Police arrested 26-year-old Phillip Matthew Dowdy of Giles County, Virginia.

Dowdy has been charged with three county of burglary, which is a class three felony. Police are still investigating and are expecting more charges to follow.

Dowdy is currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
