LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Art Thrive is a business class in Lynchburg specifically geared towards artists. We first told you about the program when it was getting ready to launch back in August.
About 17 artists have completed the pilot program and leaders say they are already seeing results.
This month the gallery at Riverviews Artspace will feature work from the students. They have completed the four week program and were taught how to market themselves to have more of an economic impact. Next to each art display in the gallery is the artist’s business card.
“It's more than just ‘this is me’. It's also ‘this is me that you might actually take away from’ and want to have in your home or have in your business,” said Megan Einhorn who completed the class.
They will be running the course again in the spring.
