UPDATE: Woman who was moving to Christiansburg when she disappeared found safe

BLUEFIELD, Va. (WDBJ7) UPDATE:

According to Bluefield Virginia Police Department, Angel Dawn French was located Tuesday morning In San Diego California by the San Diego Police Department.

Police say French was found to be in no danger and was with her boyfriend.

According to her statement to authorities in San Diego she intentionally left the Bluefield area without telling anyone she was leaving but stated she was planning to return in a few days.

The family of a woman reported missing from Bluefield, Virginia tells WDBJ7 she was in the process of moving to Christiansburg when she disappeared.

Angel Dawn French last spoke with family May 3, according to the Bluefield Police Department.

French's mother, Donna Buchannan, tells WDBJ7 her daughter was planning to return to Bluefield from Christiansburg. Buchannan says she picked her grandchildren up from school, and there were plans for the 3-year-old to be picked up by French that Sunday.

French, 30, is 5' 3" and weighs approximately 150 pounds, according to police. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Buchanan said she just wants to know her daughter is alive and well.
She said the upcoming holiday weekend is making this nightmare even worse.

"Her kids got off the school bus today with mother's day things that they made at school, so yeah," she said, "it's really hard."
