LEXINGTON, Va. (WDBJ7) Have you ever heard of a Makerspace? One is getting ready to open in Lexington.

People with ideas can gather and work with others to better develop their concepts and turn them into a workable business.

On Wednesday, a brainstorming session in Lexington with community members was held to see how best to make it work.

"We know that not everybody is good at every part of a business, but coming together with people that have really different expertises and different ideas is really the spark of a business," said
Stephanie Wilkinson, Executive Director of Main Street Lexington. "And that's what we're hoping to generate."

The meeting was held at Brew Ridge Taps on Nelson Street.
