Campbell County cleans up damage and debris from Sunday's storm

CAMPBELL CO., Va. (WDBJ7)-- Crews in Campbell County are cleaning up damage and debris Monday following Sunday's storm.

According to Campbell County Public Safety Director Tracy Fairchild, Timberlake Road from Laxton Road to Waterlick Road remains closed until further notice. Crews say the Timberlake Road area suffered the most damage. Fairchild says crews are working as quickly as they can to clear that area.

Fairchild also says that 15 to 20 commercial buildings have been reported as damaged.

Officials say there were no reported injuries in Campbell County during the storm.

Power crews are currently working to restore power to the areas that were affected from the storm.
