SALEM, Va. (WDBJ7) The Salem Spartans had quietly won three in a row, hosting Carroll County in the final game in the series for the foreseeable future.

Coach Magenbauer could afford to relax in this one because the Spartans took away any suspense early. On the first drive, Deangelo Ramsey got to the edge to win a footrace to the endzone. Salem was on top 7-0 less than two minutes in. Then, Riley Fox bulled it in from 5 yards out to make it 14-0 Salem game: and the Spartans were just getting started.

They added a safety before Noah Beckley hit Viante Tucker on the out pass and Tucker knew what to do with it. With another score, it was 23-0 all Salem. Ramsey found the zone again late in the first quarter off the right side.

The Spartans put up more than 50 points in the first half and the bell was getting a workout. Salem walloped Carroll County for a fourth straight win 58 -0.
