ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) Lisa Hoyt, from Roanoke County Parks and Recreation, showed us last week how to make soap.
This week she's in showing us how we can sign up for a class that's totally different, and yummy!
At Green Ridge Recreation Center, kids can take a class that's happening this Saturday, January 27th. In the class, they will be able to learn about the chocolate making process.
They will be able to taste their way through chocolate samples, candy and ice cream, to explore firsthand the effect that different amounts of cocoa has on flavor profiles.
They will also make truffles that they can bring home and share.
This class is for children ages 7 to 12 who have a sweet tooth and a desire to have some fun and learn!
The class starts at 11:15 a.m. and ends at 12:15 in the afternoon.
The cost is $15! All of the supplies will be provided.
