Clash in the Commonwealth not yet sold out

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Even though it's a big rivalry game, the Virginia Tech-UVA football game this weekend is not sold out.

According to Virginia Tech, there are still a fair amount of tickets left. That's due to many students who have already gone home this week for Thanksgiving. But there's also tickets that UVA sent back to Virginia Tech to sell to Hokie fans.

"Typically teams that don't anticipate having a large number of fans travel will go ahead and return tickets, so that's the situation that we're in, which means there's some opportunities for Hokie fans to come out and join us. Eat your Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, come cheer the Hokies on Saturday," VT Associate Athletics Director Pete Moris said.

Fans can claim those available seats at HokieTickets.com.
