ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ7) The field is set for the November election, and the candidates are now sizing up the competition.

Tuesday night, Jennifer Lewis promised to fight for working class Virginians, as she won the Democratic nomination in the 6th Congressional District.

Delegate Ben Cline already has the Republican nomination. Wednesday afternoon, he said he remains confident voters will respond to his conservative record.

"I look forward to the debate," Cline told WDBJ7. "It is going to outline stark differences between us. And I'm hopeful that the voters renew their faith in my record and the fight I'm planning to take for them to Washington in November."

Cline is continuing his walk across the district, and says he looks forward to "a vigorous debate on the issues."
