Cribside space heater recalled due to fire and burn risks

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH)-- Vornado air is recalling more than 5,000 cribside nursery space heaters.

The company says a broken motor can allow the electric heating element to come in contact with the interior plastic materials and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to your child.

So far, officials say no injuries have been reported. Vornado did say they have received five reports of the electric heaters catching on fire.

The space heaters were sold at Bath & beyond, buybuy Baby and other stores nationwide and online from Oct. 2017 to Dec. 2017 for about $100.

If you have the recalled space heater, contact Vornado for a free replacement.
