DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) The Danville YMCA is rewarding their members and any new members for giving back.

The YMCA started collecting donations for flood victims in West Virginia Tuesday.

They're also asking for water and cleaning supplies.

The first 100 members to donate will get a free t-shirt.

And for any new members who donate, the YMCA is waving their $50 joiner's fee.

Leaders say every small donation makes a big impact to those in need.

"This to somebody there will be, a bottle of water, they probably haven't had good clean water a good couple of days, if not longer," Danville YMCA Communications Coordinator Jonathan Holcomb said.

The collection and promotion will run until July 15th.

The YMCA will donate all supplies to God's Pit Crew.
