DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) -- A Danville woman matched all five numbers in the February 22 day drawing, winning her $100,000!

“My heart stopped. I didn’t really believe it!,” said Santayshia Wilson as she recalled the moment she discovered she’d won $100,000 playing the Virginia Lottery’s Cash 5 game.

“I had my dad look at the ticket. His eyes got really wide, and that’s when I knew,” she said.

According to Virginia Lottery news, she selected the numbers on her ticket, 8-10-12-23-26, using a combination of her parents’ birthdays. She bought the ticket at Quick N Plenty Market, 395 Mount Cross Road in Danville.

Wilson, who is studying to become a nurse, said she intends to help her family with her winnings.
