DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) A Danville woman has been charged with arson, according to Danville police.

Police say Edwina Davis was arguing with a man inside a home in the 700 block Dame Street close to midnight on Sunday. She then poured gasoline on the floor and threw a lit tissue onto the gasoline. Three other adults and a 2-year-old child were in the home at the time of the fire. Everyone was able to get out of the house without getting hurt. Police say Davis left the scene.

Davis, 34, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony arson. She’s being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.

She will appear in court for a bond hearing on May 22.
