HENRY CO., Va. (WDBJ7) Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Tuesday that Eastman Chemical Company will expand its manufacturing operation in Henry County with a new equipment line, creating 15 new jobs.
Eastman Chemical is a global advanced materials and specialty additives company. The company will invest $11.7 million for a new equipment line, which will be added to its Performance Films business.
Gov. McAuliffe approved a $50,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist Henry County with the project. Eastman is eligible to receive state benefits from the Virginia Enterprise Zone Program.
