ROANOKE (WDBJ7)-- Elf the Musical is heading to the Berglund Performing Arts Theatre this weekend with two shows on Saturday, November 11. The first show is at 2 p.m. and the second will be at 7:30 p.m. There's still time to get tickets, so don't miss out!

Ruth Pferdehirt and Emily Grace Tucker from the Elf cast stopped by WDBJ7 to give us a preview of the musical and talk a little about what it takes to prepare for a musical like this. They also talked about what they like best about the show!

According to the Berglund Center website, "ELF The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Unaware that he is actually human, Buddy's enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. This modern day Christmas classic is sure to make everyone embrace their inner ELF."

Ticket prices range from $37-$69.50. You can purchase tickets at http://theberglundcenter.com/470/ELF-THE-MUSICAL.
