DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) Leaders of the Free Clinic of Danville say signs promoting their volunteers and patients were slashed.
Six signs have been hanging outside the building since July. Leaders say someone cut the faces on them Monday night.
Now they want to know why someone would do this.
Executive Director Denise Buckner says, "It won't stop our volunteers, it won't stop our patients from speaking out. Sometimes you just have to move past it. We just want people to know that what our volunteers and patients do here is very important in spreading our message."
The banners cost around $800.
Leaders are hoping cameras on neighboring buildings will help them find out who did this.
Danville police have been notified.
