RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ7) A friend of a Radford man accused of giving women inappropriate massages says he's innocent.

David Flanagan was denied bond in court Friday morning.

The commonwealth's attorney told the court Flanagan touched five women inappropriately while giving them massages at The Finest Hour Massage.

His friend offered to speak with us after the hearing.

"The accusations made against Dave are simply not true. Just simply not true. I've known Dave for a long time and the way he's being portrayed is not David Flanagan," said Chad Nash, Flanagan's longtime friend.

The friend says Flanagan got a text from one of the victims asking for another massage. Flanagan faces 57 charges.
