LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) -- The Harlem Globetrotters took over the Liberty Flames basketball court on Monday.
The stunt basketball team talked to students at convocation before showing off their basketball skills on the court.
They then helped randomly select several students for a chance to win some cash through a series of shots.
The Globetrotters travel around the country stopping at an average of 400 schools a season talking to students about a range of topics including bullying "We're the worlds greatest basketball team on the court and off the court, we feel, and we take pride in that. We take pride in these uniforms and we want to let them know that it's not just about the game of basketball, it's about the game of life," said Harlem Globetrotter member, Anthony Buckets.
The Globetrotters will be performing again Monday at 7 p.m. in the Vines Center.
Tickets are still available at LU's ticket office.
