LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) Lynchburg Hillcats pitcher Sean Brady has been named the Carolina League's Player of the Week.
He’s the fourth Hillcat to win the honor this season, joining Mike Papi, Julian Merryweather and Yu-Cheng Chang.
Brady made two starts last week and won both, combining to throw 13 innings.
On June 28 against Wilmington, Brady tossed seven shutout innings and allowing one hit – a leadoff triple.
On Sunday against Carolina, he scattered four hits over six innings.
Brady has won five of his last six starts, and is now 7-3 with a 4.68 earned-run average.
